Business Challenge
To design and integrate a high profile boardroom that could be used to showcase Calgary to the world. Cultural considerations of how presentations would be conducted to international delegates needed to be considered as well as architectural challenges such as a curved and highly textured presentation wall. There were space constraints for placement of equipment racks.
Sharp's Audio Visual Solution
To make this a high profile room that would showcase Calgary, Sharp's Audio Visual used two key products from Calgary based SMART Technologies. The SMART In-wall interactive whiteboard provided a clean, aesthetic between the technology and the architecture to the room. Because of the unique curve and wooden ribbed texture to the presentation wall, Sharp's Audio Visual needed to modify the SMART In-wall on site and separate the pen tray from the board.

The SMART Sympodium pen display was added largely to recognize and accommodate those visiting delegates that would prefer to have a presenter remain seated during a meeting. With the global nature of this boardroom audio conferencing was a natural fit to have meetings with offices in other geographic areas.
Results
This successful boardroom room integration with excellent end user ease of use with a low learning curve for this full functioning audio visual integrated system. Client participated in a television commercial with Sharp's Audio Visual.
