Emily and Kelly - glad to know you're both on the Seinfeld bandwagon! I find it's one of those shows you either love, or love to hate. I used to get weird looks from my students when I'd bust out what I thought was a classic line such as "Who's gonna turn down a Junior Mint? It's chocolate, it's peppermint -- it's delicious!" Apparently, it's not as prevalent in the everyday language of this younger generation! lol

You can add @ktenkely to your list of Seinfeld lovers. For the record, if we ever get to meet in person, we should be on same team for Seinfeld Scene it. We would kill :)

Great learning more about you, and thanks for the memories. My husband and I love Seinfield and regularly trade phrases back and forth. I have found a lot of uses for "Serenity now!" And everytime I make Jello I get his rendition of the Costanzas "Why'd you put the bananas in the Jello?!" "George likes the bananas!" "Then let him eat them on the side!" complete with voice imitations. Have a great weekend.:)

Love the post! Really eerie, as I received your tweet, Steinbrenner (on Seinfeld) was just asking George what he was eating, the calzone... The pita pocket keeps it from dripping - Steinbrenner I'm going to dig through my VHS tapes from the 80s as, for some reason, I would record Saturday Night Live. Steinbrenner was the host one night and I have to say, he did an excellent job. Once sketch had him as a small business owner who cared a lot about his employees and wouldn't fire them no matter what... his assistant was portraying the real Steinbrenner as the guy who would fire somebody at the drop of a hat... but Stein would try to teach him how to be a more gentle, empathetic employer. This episode is nowhere to be found online so if I do find it, I'll digitize it and post it somewhere (despite copyright laws!)
