Business Challenge
The Shaw Conference Centre was looking for an easy manageable software solution for their existing digital signage system. The solution needed to minimize technical support and be flexible and expandable to provide for future evolutions in technology. The client wanted the ability to customize signage for individual facility users on an event basis if required (i.e. IBM logos on the signs for an IBM event). The chosen solution would be rolled out to ten signs within their network and allow for future growth as required.

Sharp's Audio Visual Solution
Sharp's Audio Visual partnered with Omnivex Corporation to provide the digital signage software solution. The solution provides for content creation and delivery, data management as well as device management to manage the ten NEC plasma screens that form the network. The system allows the users to access their current booking system and bring that data in to Omnivex so it can be displayed in a timely fashion on the screens. The system also allows the Shaw Conference Centre to direct specific content to a particular area for any specific event. As an example they can easily display client specific content in one area while simultaneously displaying different content for another client in a separate area.

Future plans include selling advertising space to their clients in order to generate additional revenue.

Results
The Shaw Conference Centre has a much better solution that will allow them to grow in to the future and they are learning to maximize all of the benefits that Omnivex provides.
