Today's Fresh Look Fridays post is a bit of a stray from my usual focus. Normally, I dedicate my Friday posts to exploring websites that might have some sort of educational value and work really well as a student-centered activity at a SMART Board. However, since this is my blog and I can do what I want, I'm changing the rules today...
Instead, I've decided to share a website that will support the teacher side of things. Pics4Learning is [and I quote from their front page]:
"a copyright-friendly image library for teachers and students. The Pics4Learning collection consists
of thousands of images that have been donated by students, teachers, and amateur photographers.
Unlike many Internet sites, permission has been granted for teachers and students
to use all of the images donated to the Pics4Learning collection."
Fantastic! In today's age of digital copyright nightmares (I can't tell you how many copyright stories I have from the education world), it's always nice to find a site that openly gives you peace of mind. If you haven't yet made your way over to this site, I highly recommend that you take some time to explore it!
Have a wonderful weekend, everyone!
